A meeting of minds! Russell Brand hugs Juliette Lewis after limb bending yoga session

He is a follower of quack psychologist Carl Jung and she is a dedicated Scientologist.
So Russell Brand and Juliette Lewis will have had plenty to talk about after they partook in a limb bending yoga session together in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
And it seemed to have been an emotional experience for the flexible friends, as they ended up sharing a hug as they discussed their workout.

The old friends seemed to be operating on a different plane as they held an impromptu discussion in the yoga studio car park.
And it was not long before old smoothie Russell found an excuse to wrap his octopus arms around the Cape Fear actress.
The 37-year-old Arthur star looked his usual esoteric self, wearing a grey vest and allowing his greasy locks allowed to hang loose.
Juliette, 39, looked far more agreeable in a pair of skin-tight workout trousers, turquoise T-shirt, with the lurid pink straps of her workout bra also visible.

Juliette and Russell are old acquaintances, and have been seen out on the town together as far back as 2007.
They share a love of the spiritual, with Juliette an outspoken supporter of Scientology, while at the same time also claiming to be a Christian.
In a 2010 interview she said: 'I think there's so much confusion because people don't understand a religion where you can be another religion but you can still practice Scientology. That's why it's completely progressive.'
Russell meanwhile has been pursuing his own spiritual path by delving into the works of Carl Gustav Jung, who was a believer in astrology, spiritualism, telepathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance and ESP
He was said to have undergone a 'spiritual cleansing' at the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles last October.
