He's moving on up! Bruce Willis drops $8 million on posh Central Park West apartment formerly owned by U2 bassist Adam Clayton

His new pad will be perfect for Bruce Willis and his family.
The Die Hard star has forked out $8 million on a Central Park West apartment in New York.
The three bedroom, four bath apartment was listed in October by U2 bassist Adam Clayton for $8.695 million, so Bruce snagged it for well under the asking price.

What an ideal place it is too for Bruce and his wife of three years, Emma Hemming, and their toddler Mabel, who was born last year.
The abode in located in the famed El Dorado building which has seen the likes of such celebrity residents as Alec Baldwin, singer Moby and Clayton's U2 bandmate Bono.
The apartment, which dates back to the 1930s, is considered an 'art deco gem' and boasts views of sprawling Central Park from the master suite and two of the other rooms.

The 57-year-old actor also once lived in the upscale area with ex-wife Demi Moore.
Bruce, who was raised in New Jersey but spent the early years of his acting career starring in off-Broadway productions, is fortunate as the apartment is move-in ready.
Earlier Clayton had converted two separate units into one airy living space featuring terrazzo floors, custom-built cabinetry, slate countertops and top of the line appliances.

The apartment is on the fourth floor and boasts a 38-foot-long gallery.
The eat-in kitchen, which was originally two maids' rooms, is a spacious 22 feet long and ideal for cooking and just hanging out, which should make Bruce's wife Emma happy. 
Bruce, who up until now was renting an apartment in Trump Tower in New York City, also owns multiple properties in Sun Valley, Idaho, Los Angeles, Malibu, and a beach home in Turks and Caicos. 
The actor's films have grossed more than $3 billion at the US box office alone, making him one of the most in-demand leading men around.
